We’re excited to inform our school community that we are moving to a new location! Starting from January 4th, 2023, our school will be situated at 15 Wavell Ave, Margate. This relocation marks a new chapter for us, and we look forward to creating wonderful memories in our new surroundings. CFC is CAPS Aligned and registered with the dept of education as well as accredited with Umalusi.
CFC has a 10 to 15 student/teacher ratio.
CFC employs only SACE registered staff. Our current staff compliment of 13 consists of all Sace registered teaching staff.
CFC has a multi qualified coach on staff. The extracurricular activities include:

PE lessons will be introduced from 2024, giving all learners the opportunity to get physical education during the school day, should they not be able to play sport after school.
Offical learners and drivers licence courses will be offered as part of life orientation to our grade 10, 11, and 12 classes from a qualified traffic official.
Christian faith classes to strengthen spiritual growth.
CFC promotes corrective action to negative behaviours rather than punitive action.
CFC has 24-hour manned security with access control, fencing, burglar proofing, and fully compliant to Health and Safety regulations. Standby paramedic services (James)
CFC uses Class dojo, whatapp, email, and Web page to communicate with parents. Accounts dept use the Sage system.
CFC has an open door policy for concerned parents as well as termly parent/teacher evenings. Daily communication is available through Learner’s homework diary.
CFC is aligned and implemented according to the high standard set by Dept of Education, Umalusi, and Sacai.
CFC will take into consideration the special needs of specific learners and create an environment in which these learners are treated equally, irrespective of their difficulties. Children who have visual difficulties will be accommodated through scripts with larger fonts and assistance where needed. Children with barriers to learning, i.e., Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalcula, ADD, ADHD and high functioning autism will benefit from the smaller classes due to closer interactions with educators.
CFC has a school safety policy that gives guidelines on how all serious incidents or threats to the safety of learners and staff will be handled. The safety policy is designed with the assistance of SAPS and adheres to school safety regulations expected of all schools in line with the National School Safety Framework.
In cases of emergency, parents are contacted telephonically and advised of the nature of the emergency and informed of the options available for treatment or assistance needed for the learner
