WE WELCOME DR RICHARD KIECK TO OUR CHRISTIAN FAMILY COLLEGE PRIVATE ACADEMIC EXCEPTIONAL STAFF COMPLIMENT

LECTORI SALUTEM

Dear Parents, Students and Educators of Christian Family College

This letter serves as a brief greeting to introduce myself to the CFC Family.

I am passionate about schooling and education, including the edified transcendence of developing
children and young adults. I have been most fortunate to have contributed to, as well as witnessed countless educational miracles throughout my career spanning 40 years.

Educators I believe, are born and not made. Christian Family College is an institution which has created and left indelible footprints in the hearts and minds of its learners and graduates who have graced its classrooms during its 15 years of existence.
Previous institutions, students, learners, colleagues and parents have described me as a passionate,
dynamic manager, motivational teacher, caring communicator and team player. I have trained and
assessed teachers at Universities (RAU – University of Johannesburg), National Colleges and online
for Stadio University, in addition to strategically establishing and managing various primary and high
schools.

Moving to the South Coast to follow my wife’s dream, we opened two businesses four years ago.
Little did we know of the looming challenges encompassing Covid-19, riots and floods. This exercised a profound impact on SA schooling accompanied by ensuing educational shifts and trends. Lecturing online, and visiting both private and government schools to conduct KZN student-teacher assessments, I’m suitably aware of the status quo between traditional schooling and untested, developing trends confronting parents and children.

At Christian Family College my goals include training confident learners, exercising school leadership, mentoring and training staff, evidenced by secure, motivated learner delivery and achievement.

This fervour forms an integral component when crafting a school to be the preferred educational
institution on merit. These processes naturally observe, innovate, operate and function in the
framework of departmental regulations as a school that caters for and educates the whole child.

I extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation to CFC management, parents and learners for this
exciting opportunity to serve your school, and contribute to its expansion and growth as it answers
the educational need on the South Coast, without sacrificing its core values or calling.

Yours sincerely
Dr R. W. Kieck
